Me: "Your lunch smells really good. What is it?"
E: "Tuna casserole. Want some?"
Me: "I can't. Still on a vegetarian diet."
E: "So no fish?"
Me: "Nothing that breathes and moves"
E: "But plants breathe, and they grow."
Me: "Nothing that moves on its own free will"
*silence*
E: "I can't think of any vegetables that move on its own free will"
Me: "That's why it's called a vegetable"
Maybe it was his facial expression that cracked me up XD
